A number of bug fixes and enhancements:
Font Selection
One of the changes to the Font Selection setup is just the button it’s self – previously the font selector was a half-way setup between our old drop-down box and a new window. The drop-down box is completely gone, just click on the Click to Select Font button (currently it shows Eagle Cut Charge – the currently selected font.) It’s works a little more logically.
The font selector window loads much faster, and more consistently: depending on how old someone’s previous version was, it may have had a file with some messed up permissions that prevented loading in the fonts.
This starts with a curated list of fonts – not all Google fonts work well with Eagle Cut. Not because Eagle Cut can’t render them, but because they’re way too thin for cutting on vinyl then weeding. I’ll be adjusting this list a bit soon, this is just the first draft of it. Future versions will allow you to add and remove from the local listing, search for new fonts to install, etc.
The official Eagle Cut fonts (Bow, Charge, and Pony) now appear at the top of the list and work correctly again.
Cut Manager
The Cut Manager got some bug fixes including better handling of rotation after you’ve already purchased your template, some minor fixes to setup, and slightly better handling of test plots.
